FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive collection of SAT tutoring materials from some of America's best SAT tutors. I am constantly updating and improving my approaches to SAT tutoring. When you are providing something as important as SAT tutoring, you want to make SURE that you're presenting the best materials to your customers!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A number of years ago, an organization I was a member of offered free SAT tutoring every Monday evening in our office in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Parents would drive their children downtown after a long day at work and the students would have their exhausting day extended even further. I knew there had to be a better way to approach SAT tutoring and seeing how I had spent twenty-five years solving problems, I started looking for solutions and as a result, have designed an online SAT tutoring system.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I tutored a young woman who was a junior attending a high school in India. She did very well on her SAT test and has since been accepted to the University of Southern California school of biomedical engineering which is very highly ranked. She wrote to me, I was very pleased to work with you and am finding that my SAT score is opening up many new doors for me. Thank you so much for all the help this year and the year before that. A prominent Atlanta psychiatrist called me and asked if I could help his daughter who was a Junior and who was going to take the SAT test in five days. I quickly put together a course of study for her and her father later wrote, ... your timely intervention was a big confidence booster for her. Thanks for that. Her mother added, I want to echo my husband's thank you for your help. Katie's confidence jumped with her exposure to the math tricks taught in your videos. Regardless of how that affected her scores, I believe that confidence boost alone was worthwhile. Incidentally, Katie did very well on her first SAT test!
