My adult son and I both adopted rescues and decided to work on obedience training together in joint private lessons. It was so much fun to do this as a family.The trainer, Vanessa, was outstanding training both the dogs and their humans. I was impressed the dogs listened to her immediately and she taught us the proper commands, positions, and habits to continue their training. We met once/week for five weeks. Homework was effective and included reference videos. Vanessa was highly accessible and responsive to questions.My 18 month husky/golden enjoyed working with the long leash for both recall and off-leash work. After just two lessons, shes able to sit/stay with many distractions, including at a busy park. My sons 7 month old border collie absolutely loved the enrichment. He thrived with the lessons and slept well those nights! Vanessa was so kind to come to our home and help with interactions with older dogs as well.We will absolutely use her again. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much David! Tally was such a fun puppy to work with. Seeing her progress from session to session was honestly awesome. We covered so much together from no jumping, crate training, impulse control, leash walking, and even practicing around real-world distractions like our sessions at Home Depot and at the Park.
Training in different environments really helped build her confidence and focus, and she handled it so well. Goldendoodles are smart dogs with lots of energy, so watching Tally learn how to slow down, listen, and make better choices was really rewarding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Training starts with a $99 hands-on evaluation and first training session.
Packages:
• 3 Sessions – $399
• 5 Sessions – $599
• 10 Sessions – $999
Payment plans are available through Afterpay. There are no additional fees for training within my service area, and all pricing is discussed upfront with no hidden costs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every dog starts with a hands-on evaluation and first training session. We'll discuss your goals, assess your dog's behavior, and begin training right away.
After the session, I'll recommend the number of sessions based on your dog's needs and your goals. Each lesson builds on the previous one, and you'll receive simple homework to practice between sessions so you can continue making progress at home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of hands-on experience training dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavior levels in real-life environments. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education and practical experience, focusing on obedience, leash walking, recall, puppy training, impulse control, and behavior modification.
My approach is based on clear communication, consistency, and teaching both the dog and the owner how to succeed together.
