KLMoore Photography was an incredible experience - both personally and professionally. From the moment Karl called me on the phone, he GOT what I was looking for. He described in detail his vision for my project that mirrored what I had been thinking. It was such a positive experience and he captured the essence of what I was trying to convey with my images. Looking forward to working with him - over and over and over again! Thank you, Karl! Great to meet you.Sep 15, 2018Verified
I hired Karl for a self directed shoot. He was responsible for establishing a relationship with the person being photographed, scheduling the shoot, and of course capturing amazing shots. It was a pleasure working with Karl.Jul 6, 2018Verified

Karl will be doing a photo session for me in June, however, from the time he replied to my request on Thumb Tack he has been extremely professional and delightful to speak to and meet to discuss my photo shoot. He has such a creative and artistic eye in planning to shoot my art work.May 15, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For Corporate Events: I've covered all kinds of events, tradeshows, and banquets for over 10 years and work with the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, Georgia Tech, Georgia Aquarium, Gwinnett County Public Schools, law firms, tech companies and others as a clients. You can see some of my work under "Event" galleries on my website mooreshots.com. My rates are simply $150/hr with a 2 hour minimum that includes my time covering the event and providing edited images afterwards. For Headshots: I enjoy working with companies and individuals to provide anything from formal headshots to casual headshots in front of corporate logos or equipment for use on websites and social media. You can see some of my work on my profile and website mooreshots.com under "People" and "Commercial." My rates for headshots are simply a $300 set up fee where I provide the background, full studio lighting, an assistant, and shooting tethered to a laptop to see the results immediately. After that, I charge $50/person that includes full portrait retouching for a minimal, realistic look. For Creative Commercial Work/Magazine Shoots: My clients hire me when they need something more creative and artistic. You can see some of my work on my profile and website mooreshots.com under my "People" and "Commercial" galleries. My work has appeared on billboards, magazine covers and print in a variety of places. I've also had my work used in campaigns that have been translated into 10 different languages and used all around the world. Recently, I've been working with a local university to help provide the creative direction with their rebranding and switch to Adidas uniforms. I'm also in my 8th season with the Atlanta Braves AAA team in Gwinnett as their team photographer and shoot game action, team photo, and the cover images for the game day magazine handed out in the stadium. My rates for magazines and creative work vary. I would propose that we talk more to discuss the specifics of your project to determine the scope of work, cost for the project, artistic vision, and the deliverables. For all types of work, I can be reached via phone or email at karl at mooreshots.com to answer specific questions. Thanks for considering me. Karl Moore The Images of KLMoore Photography
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My typical process in working with a new customer is to move from emails and texts to phone calls as soon as possible. This allows me to start establishing a rapport with the new client and helping to better understand their needs. If I'm working a corporate event, then I always show up at least an hour before the event to meet you, go over the timing of events, and get acclimated to my surroundings. For commercial and magazine work, I like to meet in person before the day of the shoot to establish a rapport with you and understand exactly what your vision is and then find the best way to bring it to reality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been taking pictures for over 20 years now. Through out this time, I've taken photography classes and worked as a photojournalist for 12 years covering news and sports for newspapers and magazines. I've also been the team photographer for the Atlanta Braves AAA club here in Gwinnett for the past 8 seasons. My quest for learning has never stopped and I'm always trying to learn new things every day.
