FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are school-specific and county-specific discounts available to students. When you call us, we will apply the best discount available to your student. All of our fees are listed on our website, so you will never be surprised.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to have a quick conversation and learn some important details about the student's academics: - Student's grade level - Current coursework - Current school - Previous scores (test prep) - Subjects the student needs help with - Deadlines (applications, scholarships, etc.) Once we understand the student's academics, we can provide recommendations for: - Testing timeline - How many tests you should take - Target scores - How much instruction you will need - What type of instruction (group v. 1-on-1) Our goal is to give you a crystal clear picture of where your student is right now, where they need to be in the future, and what is needed to bridge that gap. Once you have the full picture, and you decide to sign-up for a service, we will walk you through the logistics (schedule creation, registration, payment options, etc.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors are professional tutors. All instructors have at least a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. Many instructors have, or are currently pursuing, advanced degrees. Our average instructor has more than 3,000 hours of instructional experience. We always pair students with instructors that we believe would be the best fit for them.
