House Fly holds not only the required FAA 333 Exemption, but President and owner, Bronson Cheeks is a licensed pilot, a further requirement by the FAA. (Many companies are operating under the 333 exemption, but do not hold a pilots license.) I was in charge of planning a wedding on the beach and thought how nice it would be to capture the celebration from another perspective. I contacted Bronson of House Fly on short notice. He was there that weekend, did a great job of videoing the wedding by drone. The bridge was thrilled and as a wedding planner, this allows me to offer another great service to my customers. Please note! Bronson's company is totally legal with the required exemptions and he has the required pilots license. I would highly recommned House Fly. ~MB~

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Like every project, each customer is unique. I like to start a dialog over the phone so that everyone is one the same page before work has begun. A happy customer is worth well more than a quick buck.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began as a real estate sales associate and invested quite a bit of time and money to give my listing a great marketing platform. So I got into drones and doing interior shots. Doing this, I quickly figured out that operating aircraft was a passion of mine and have been working towards making it a career.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I specialize in done photography, and have worked very hard to do this legally. So, one should look for a FAA 333 exemption, a Blanket COA from the FAA, and make sure the operator is a licensed aircraft pilot that holds insurance. If all of the criteria has been met, then you have met a reputable drone pilot.
