Star Johnson studied Make-Up application in Atlanta, Ga. She has experience with all aspects of Media Make-Up, including: Magazine and Editorial Spreads, Commercial Advertising, Bridal and Runway. She shares the same Make-Up Philosophy as the late great, Kevyn Aucoin - "All woman are beautiful inside", and that Make-Up is "merely a way to reveal and enhance that inner beauty". Our sons Birthday is in January, so too cold to be outside. He recently turned 2 and the friends we invited to the party were mostly toddlers and a little young for Birthday games. So I decided to hire Star to help keep the kids entertained with face painting. She was on time and all set up before the kids arrived. Star was fabulous with the kids who were in the 2 - 3.5 years old range. (She is a mom too, so she knows what kids like). For the kids who were a little timid she painted on hands or arms. For those kids who were not timid she let them have more than one piece of body art. After the party the paint washes off very easily. I am so pleased Star was available for our small Birthday party!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a phone consult, then a makeup consultation at that point we can do a trial application and book.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained at Makeup School.
