We have a 21/2 year GSD ( a rescue w/ an uncertain background) - BD came highly recommended to us and we have NOT been disappointed. Our girl came from an unknown background and really had no training at all - in addition she is very reactive to other dogs and cats. Essentially - BD is training us how to get the responses and behavior we want from our dog. She establishes the goals and clearly explains the process to achieve them - first by showing us how and then by guiding us through the process until we have success. We've learned to read our dog's body language and how to respond to her signals in a positive way. BD is extremely knowledgeable - she definitely goes above and beyond to help us succeed but she also expects us to work hard to be successful. We've learned that training a dog - especially a highly intelligent and high energy dog - takes patience and persistence and consistency. We are a work in progress but with BD's guidance we've made great strides. My husband and I both have hectic works schedules and he travels often- BD is very flexible and always tries to accommodate us as best as possible. I have recommended BD to several friend and they have or are currently working with her as well. I would highly recommend BD to anyone who is serious about training their dog and willing to put the work in to do it.

If you want a first class dog trainer, BD Malone at Beastie Darlings is the place to go! We have used her skills for 4 dogs and 2 cats and have been amazed every time. Also, she has fun workshops for enriching your relationship with your dog. Highly recommend.

I have been working with BD for two and a half years and I have learned soooo much from her. My dog absolutely adores her and has blossomed under BD's tutelage. BD arranges for a variety of internationally known trainers to come to Atlanta so that her "pupils" are exposed to and enriched by their expertise. She quickly answers my questions and we stay in constant contact. She also yells at me when I need it. 😃. BD isn't just our trainer, she is also our friend. We love BD!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not only do I travel the world to study with the best trainers, I also bring those trainers to Atlanta so that clients and local trainers can benefit from the knowledge of the masters. Continuing to learn and develop are essential to becoming the best possible.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in my 40's, I decided that I wanted to be doing something I was madly, passionately excited about every day, by the time I was 50. After considerable reflection, the only option was working with dogs. It became my mission to become the best possible dog trainer and years later, I'm still on that mission.
