Introduction: It is not enough to be qualified. You have to be noticed. Navigating the job market and finding a job you love, requires clarity, strategy and focused effort. During the day I oversee Recruiting for my organization, and I partner with freelance clients outside of business hours as they make their next career transition. I support clients with resume/Linkedin reviews, interviewing coaching, networking & offer negotiation.

I really enjoyed speaking with Matt about switching careers. I was lost at how to approach the job hunt at a very important point in my life. He was very informative, professional, and understanding of my situation. I do truly recommend him as a career coach.

If I could choose more attributes I would. Matt is an outstanding coach! I had multiple interviews with companies for sales roles prior to working with Matt. Matt got me extremely comfortable with high level interview questions which set me up for success in landing a dream role! If you need coaching, mentorship, advice - reach out to Matt! When I’m ready for promotion he’ll definitely be getting a call from me.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There are no minimum number of sessions required, but I do provide discounts for a series of sessions booked.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My first step with a client is to create a position profile, identifying the type of work they want to pursue (geography, industries, titles, timeline, compensation, etc.). From there we map out a strategy which combines updates to resume/Linkedin profile, networking activity and focused applications.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I oversee Talent Acquisition for my organization during the day, which gives me a behind-the-scenes perspective to support freelance clients outside of business hours. I am familiar with how hiring managers review resumes, what interviewers want to see in interviews, and the best practices for negotiating an offer which is the right fit for you.
