FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Forge and Timber, we believe in transparent, fair pricing with no hidden fees. Each project is custom, so pricing depends on the scope, materials, and design details. We provide detailed estimates up front and keep you informed throughout the process. While we don’t offer standard discounts, we do our best to work within your budget and offer options that balance quality and cost. Our focus is always on delivering exceptional value through craftsmanship, communication, and care.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to be collaborative, clear, and tailored to your vision from start to finish: Initial Consultation – We start with a conversation to understand your goals, style, budget, and timeline. Whether it's a full renovation or a custom build, we want to hear your ideas. Design + Planning – Our team creates thoughtful design concepts and material recommendations. Once approved, we develop a detailed scope of work and project estimate. Proposal + Agreement – You'll receive a transparent proposal outlining costs, timelines, and expectations. Once everything’s aligned, we move forward with scheduling. Build Phase – Our skilled craftsmen bring the design to life, keeping you updated throughout. We work cleanly and respectfully in your home. Final Walkthrough – We ensure everything is completed to your satisfaction, down to the last detail. We’re here to make the process smooth, enjoyable, and focused on delivering results you’ll love for years to come.
