- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have base prices for the pieces to be reupholstered. If there is a larger problem or the client wants a new seat cushion etc., those repairs will be made at an additional cost. Tufting is usually is slightly higher in price due to the labor intensity, and additional time taken to do it. Pick up and Delivery has a one time charge of $50.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we set up a meeting or get in contact to talk about what the client wants. After we get a set idea of the type of work done (style, design, changes) we would either pick up the pieces to be reupholstered (if large) or we would have the client come drop the item(s) off at our shop along with the fabric necessary to reupholster the items.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 10 years of experience doing upholstery and custom furniture full time as a way of living. We do professional work.
