This review is in no way to bash Gustavo. However, I had an ok experience with him. He was nice throughout the entire experience. In the beginning, he was very responsive. He did a few projects for me like new toilet installations and shower head installation. Those processes were good. After I got a few things done to my home, his responsiveness slacked up, but he informed me of his busy schedule. I completely understood.
Also, I know everyone and their work won’t be a 100% all the time. My issue came in when I noticed a few issues with the master bedroom floor Gustavo completed for me on May 29th. I didn’t move in until around July 4th. I moved everything in and noticed a piece of something was sticking up from the floor. I informed him of the issue and he came by to fix the piece that was sticking up. A few days later, I noticed a piece of flooring slightly overlapping another piece near the master bathroom door. The master bathroom door was harder to close after the installation as well. I informed him of the issue and Gustavo asked me when was the best time for him to come by and fix the issue.
After a full two weeks of no response, I messaged him basically stating I’ll have to get someone else to fix it because the floor was getting worse and I haven’t heard from him. I couldn’t keep waiting around. He just read the message and didn’t respond.
It’s sad because I really had faith in him that he would do right by me throughout the entire process. As I mentioned before, this post is not to bash Gustavo. This was just my experience. He’s still a great person. I pray from here on out he learns to communicate better with his potential customers and customers.
