Introduction: I am a state licensed residential and light commercial builder with 40 years of experience. I have built houses and commercial buildings from the ground up, done all remodeling, and extensive work with reclaimed heartpine. My goal is a smiling satisfied customer when the job is complete. I enjoy building and creating a whole new look through remodeling, but remodeling older homes is especially interesting.

Jimmy and his crew were here bright and early as promised, although we did not have all material as ordered and promised from supplier. We went over the initial timeline and they stuck to it. We did hit a snag and had to cancel a piece that had not arrived in 2 months, that wasn't a problem. They built me a book case and stained it to match the open shelving that they put up.

I would recommend Jimmy with out hesitation. Superb quality work. We are 100% satisfied and couldn't be happier with our new deck.

Jimmy Fleming and his amazing team completely renovated our nearly 200 year old farmhouse. Jimmy also designed and built a two story addition that connected the two back wings of the house providing a beautiful flow for living and entertaining. Guests marvel at the skill and excellent workmanship of the rebuilt porch, the interior staircase, the custom heart pine cabinets (in kitchen and 3 new bathrooms), the kitchen island, the walnut slab bar, the mantels (reproduced to match the existing mantels in the house), and of course the gorgeous chimney (made with antique brick) and the spacious, comfortable deck. Jimmy’s skill and workmanship is unsurpassed. We feel very fortunate that we found him for this project. I highly recommend Jimmy Fleming for any project - big or small. I have been very pleased with all the work Mr. Fleming has done for me.I first had him build a clubhouse for my hunting preserve then he built callback houses for quail, he then almost completely rebuilt the inside of my step daughters trailer and put on a new tin roof.I also plan on him doing most of the work on the new house we are going to build.

Prices are based on project materials list, labor cost, overhead cost, any jobsite difficulties, with reasonable profit added in.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Look at project and talk to customer to get a good feel for what they want, think about job for a day or two, do a job takeoff (estimate), email the quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS degree from Newberry College in SC. My grandfather was a carpenter, I was his assistant in my youth and have been building since.
