Shelby was a lucky find for me when I wasn’t sure where to start looking for a photographer. Now I’ve reached out to her on multiple occasions to take photos for me - maternity and family portraits. She’s got a great eye and delivers lots of edited photos to choose from. She’s flexible during a session, listens exactly to my very specific requests, and even gets adorable candids in-between traditional shots. She’s just so good.

Shelby did an incredible job photographing our engagement. I really appreciated how great she was at communication both leading up to and the day of the engagement. She got there early and sent me a photo of where she was set up which was a great help. After the engagement we did a short photo shoot for 20-30 minutes where again she did a great job directing us for a bunch of different poses. She was extremely friendly and made the experience very comfortable. The engagement was on Friday evening and we got the first batch of pictures back (around 15) that Sunday morning, with the remainder coming within 3 weeks. We’re very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Shelby to anyone.

Words can’t describe how much we loved our photos that Shelby took of us for our elopement. She was punctual, professional, and so kind. Like many of us- I’m usually a bit awkward when it comes to posing but Shelby made us feel so comfortable and guided us every step of the way. She worked with us through 30 degree winds in the middle of winter without missing a beat. I’ve already had so many people reach out asking who did our photos because of how great they turned out.     I have an associates degree in Photography from North Georgia Technical College.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I joined the yearbook staff in high school and my favorite part about it was being able to take photographs for the yearbook.
