I've been freelancing since 1994, and am fluent in all of the Adobe Creative Suite applications, but besides that, I've been in your shoes. I've hired out work to graphic designers, artists, and web designers. I understand the needs of a project from both sides of the equation: customer and designer, so I can help you outline your project well. I look forward to presenting the first draft to a client, and seeing their reaction to my work. The closer the first draft is to being on-target, then I have done my job well.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $25 per hour for simple writing and transcription projects, $35 per hour for page-layout work if you have your own copy and graphics ready to go, $45 per hour if I have to write the copy AND do the page-layout. I charge $50 per hour for custom logos created or modifying one you already have,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Always, but the basics of good design do not change. Software changes, but artistic methods and properties remain constant. It's the creative challenge that makes this work so interesting; no two projects are exactly alike.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've always been a graphic artist, even when I had corporate positions that were not creative, I was always the creative go-to person. It is always where my heart is.
