About
For 20yrs I owned my own business building and installing sunrooms, screen rooms, and canvas awnings. Both commercial and residential. For the past 5yrs I’ve been in bath design. I’m skilled in lots of things. If there’s something I can’t do; I’ll let you know. I won’t tell you that I can do something just to get the job. I’m of the mindset that if you’re fair, honest and show up on time; you’ll have more work than you can handle. I’ll never cut corners. Can you get it done cheaper? Maybe. Will it be right? Who knows? Some of my competitors may be cheaper, but I’ll take the time to make sure that it’s done right and you’re happy. Why? Because word of mouth it the best advertisement. And bad news travels twice as fast as good news.
NOTE:
Due to the overwhelming responses I need to let it be known that I do not have the capability to change out light fixtures such as chandeliers in vaulted ceilings or two story foyers. Neither can I do anything on the outside of the home that is above the first floor. That type of work requires tall ladders and or scaffolding and more man power. I’m just one person.
I borrowed this from a fellow craftsman:
When you pay for a job, especially handcrafted, you pay not only for the material used, but also:
- Knowledge
- Experience
- Study
- Tools
- Services
- Time to go
- Punctuality
- Accountability
- Professionalism
- Accuracy
- Guaranteed
- Patents
- Sacrifices
- Safety and security
- Payment of tax obligations
No one can denigrate other people's work by judging prices.
Only by knowing all the elements necessary for the production of a certain work can you estimate the actual cost.
I am sharing it to support craftsmen and entrepreneurs.
Thank you.
Jeff

Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had him come out to screen in our porch and he went above and beyond what was expected. He immediately noticed the structural issues with our porch and came up with solutions to fix it as well. You will not regret hiring him for any of your projects. We will definitely be using him again!

Jeff Mann is the best handy man I’ve had he was on time asked for my opinion on how I wanted everything arranged and gave me feedback. If there is a task that he doesn’t feel would be safe for you house, would cause damage or if it’s not something he does he is honest and doesn’t cut corners. Definitely would use his services in the future and highly recommend his services to anyone.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss their particular project. I let them know whether or not if I’m comfortable doing the work. (I’m not doing anyone any favors if I misrepresent myself.) If we decide to move forward; we schedule a timeframe for me to come out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my training has been self taught. I grew up with a dad that did it all. So from the time I could hold a hammer; I’ve been honing my skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I once worked for a very reputable kitchen and bath remodeling company. I was one of their designers. One day; one of my kitchen clients (an elderly lady) asked me if I knew of a handyman. I said “no” but what is it that you need? I found out that there was a void that needed to be filled and “Handy Mann” was born. Designing kitchens and baths was fun but I take great pleasure in working with my hands and providing a service to someone who otherwise may go without.
