Purpose of closet remodel
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Our work stands out from others because of a few reasons. Most important, the owner is still involved in the day to day operations and still assists the crews even at all hours of the night. Another is our communication, to our customers, to our staff and to the owner/operator is vital, everyone needs to know what's happening from day to day and week to week. Also our end result stands out due to us completing within our deadlines, revealing outstanding craftsmanship and most important we leave the property owner not as just another customer but usually a relationship is always there if they need anything else. Everything! :-)

I had a toilet overflow that pretty much ruined my downstairs floors and walls. Steve and his team stepped in and quickly, efficiently and professionally began the clean up process. They packed up and stored all my belongings safely in a climate controlled warehouse. Steve was absolutely wonderful dealing with the insurance and making sure my family was put up comfortably during the repair process. We are on the home stretch and I have him and his team to thank for it! While no one wants to go through this kind of disaster you can feel safe in knowing that you're in good hands! A quick shout out to Connie holding down the fort at the office. Thanks to you Steve and your family of professionals!

Posted to Yelp support team: "The CFO of this company posted a review and someone removed all negative reviews. This action fraudulently bloats their rating on yelp and violates more than one of your terms of service agreement. It could be called a testament to the mentality of a company who staffs employees that have such contempt for the rules that are willing to commit fraud. It's the same crooked mentality that started this mess to begin with. Please remove the post that violates your rules." *** UPDATE: Yelp removed the 5 star review posted by 911 Restorations of Atlanta's own CFO at 12:30 today Dec 8th 2015 on the grounds that it violated their terms of service agreement. *** The following was removed from yelp twice now under the grounds of being second hand information. The fact remains that is is not second hand information when I've seen all text messages and records for phone calls as well as the property. This is called first hand information. The removal of a bad review on such grounds is also sketchy at best. I am currently involved with this project and have performed some of the work even today that this company was paid to do and never did. The fact that they're keeping insurance money and not providing a service is against the law. Thinking it's ok to keep the money because they got the check from State Farm instead of from David Portnoy is ludicrous. The employees of this company are trying to hide this blemish on their record when it needs to be understood by the public. By the way, these statements, if they were false, and they're obviously not considering the data I've personally seen and witnessed, it would be called libel; not slander. What follows is the review the company had yelp remove on grounds of being second hand. It's not second hand. I've seen it and been there since the problem occurred. "This company accepted a check for $15,000 for services that were never rendered. Rather than refunding the money, they are trying to keep the check citing a breech of contract. No contract has been breeched. A refund was requested. A refund has been refused. This problem hasn't been rectified even though six months have transpired. 911restorations gave the ultimatum that they would refund the money only if the negative review was removed. This mentality could lead one to believe that they are trying to cover up a dishonest situation to prevent others from finding out. This situation is now going to small claims court where outside sources seem confident that a ruling will see the $15,000 returned and 911restorations covering the court costs as well. The claims of slander are empty. Besides, in writing it would be libel instead of slander. However, this is neither. This is fact. Here's to hoping 911restorations returns the $15,000. Either way, this review will remain for all to see regardless of the outcome." The CEO is now threatening to take legal action against me because I chose to point out the company's unwillingness to budge on what would otherwise be a simple refund. They didn't pack out and move anything and accepted a check from the insurance company for $15,000 and consider my poor reviews a form of bullying. They claim to not want to cut a check to Dave and will only respond to the insurance company. According to the insurance company, 911 restorations is not returning their phone calls. Regardless of whether the refund goes to Dave or the insurance company, keeping $15,000 and not performing the work is against the law. I am now being threatened with legal action for pointing this out according to the CEO. Don't cross these guys, they are vindictive when confronted.
911 Restoration of Atlanta's reply
On behalf of 911 Restoration I encourage everyone to read all reviews and not let one bad review waiver in your decision with interviewing myself for your project. I've worked hard for 17 years to remain a pilar in the community and have never stolen from or mishandled a customer. Legal action is in motion and the above review is even third-party hearsay. This matter will be handled properly and professional within due time. Respectfully, Steven, owner/operator.

I had an awful experience with Tim and Steve as well. I met with Steve the owner seemed like a great guy that would handle the job efficiently and effectively. The experience was anything but. Signed a contract with them to complete revisions to my bathroom, sunroom and flooring after a leak in Sept. The job should've taken 2 months top. Finally in March 6 MONTHS later they finished the work after I decided to sub contract out jobs they had yet to finish. During this time my project manager Tim actually quit the company. Steve and Tim both would blame each other for the delays all the while neither person would do anything to get the project completed. Tim quit the project in December and under Steve it still took 3 additional months to get the work done. Also beware of the price they charge they significantly over charge for work. Example for my floors to sand, refinish and stain about 1500sqft over my main level wood floors they wanted to charge the insurance 6k and another 4k to move the furniture!!!! Found a different contractor that charged ~2k for the work. Also received a quote of less than half what they wanted to charge for paint. To sum it up I would not use their services again nor would I recommend them to anyone. If you do definitely get other offers to compare prices they have significant inflation in their cost and they give you the" we don't determine the cost" spill. I have two stars because the bathroom did turn out nice and Connie was helpful after Steve stopped replying to my messages
