FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Green Hammer Renovations LLC, we do our pricing different from most companies. Most remodeling companies use an estimating software that bundles your scope of work into one big lump some price. This makes the estimating process easy for them but not fair to the customer. They will type in the square foot size of your project and the software will give them an average price for the complete job. These prices are compiled of average cost from around the United States that the software companies have gathered. We actually go the extra mile and itemize your estimate line for line. By doing this, you are getting an accurate cost for only the work you want completed and not a bundle price. This way you can review your complete estimate and only do the portions of work that you want. Its like an" A la carte" type approach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While our industry is constantly evolving, Green Hammer Renovations LLC is always following new trends to stay up to date on the latest design styles. We have participated in many hours of LEED training, ( Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design). LEED is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. We are doing our part in helping the environment by using "GREEN" practices every chance we get.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Mother & Father owned a construction company as I was growing up. At the young age of 11 years old I would go to work with my Father during the summer months. I was always fascinated with how he could build a family home just from lumber. By the time I was 14 years old I was able to read blue prints and designs. After college I found my true passion, remodeling. I am a creative person who also likes to "get my hands dirty". I was able to express my creativity through my design's and skills as a carpenter. As my clientele grew so did my different skills. Like the old saying goes,"if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life". I absolutely love my profession!
