- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everyone's property varies. The only fixed rates I have are for a mow, trim, edge and blow. It's $45 dollars up to 5000 sq ft and $75 for 5001-10,000 sq ft. Corner properties pay $10 extra for extended edging.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer traveling to the customers location and assessing the situation; reporting what I observe and making suggestions. PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS this is free of charge regardless of whether or not you hire me. Estimates, when requested, are a la carte you can pick and choose the work you want done. Work is scheduled by request unless you specify something else. I don't show up at your house to mow the lawn while it's raining.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During my employment with the Scotts company (17 years) we had ongoing training. I recently passed Rutgers course to meet NJ requirements. It's mandatory for fertilizer applications in New Jersey. I also do independent study with other college agricultural programs.
