Hi! Thanks for reaching out for lessons! First & foremost, I work to instill self-confidence in all who study with me. My singing, voice over acting, voice/speech, public speaking, songwriting, and accent reduction instruction are very personalized and unique to each student, and I've taught all ages from 6 - 96. I'm currently located in the Atlanta area. I have decades of experience in all the above fields including Broadway theatre, keynote public speaking, voice overs in all the media, gold & platinum recordings as the artist & songwriter, and countless live performances. I've taught all these skills for over 30 years privately and at schools in New York and S. California such as the Orange County School of the Arts, Saddleback College, Irvine Valley College, University of California/San Diego, The Performers Academy, Child Actor LA and The Paul Merage School of Business at University of California/Irvine. Excellent. I'm not a singer but a guitarist who wanted to learn a few rudiments of singing. I found her to be very knowledgeable about much of the music business in addition to voice training. Per my objective she provided a lot of the basics as well as practice and monitoring. I think it would be hard to go wrong with her. When I get some more time I would go back for more.

Miss Beverly has been a joy to work with! My 7 year old has more confidence in public speaking and has been using all the tools she shared to develop a strong vocal presence. Each lesson builds on the other so there’s great continuity and Miss Beverly gives great constructive suggestions. It was my son’s first formal lesson in voiceovers, and she was such a pleasure to work with and learn from.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on an hourly lesson, but I offer a free lesson if 8 lessons are paid for in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the student as a person first, then find out what experience or training they may have had and what they're goals are. I'll then get right to work on improving their skills, along with building their confidence in themselves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a working professional for 40+ years and teaching it throughout my career. As a singing/acting instructor, I studied with Carlo Mennotti at Carnegie Hall, graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and studied with multiple teachers at such institutions as HB Studio, Stella Adler, & Estelle Harman. I studied accent reduction with Dr. Arthur Compton & Dr. David Allen Stern.
