FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I might have been a little more conscious and particular of my apparel than some of my peers while growing up. People began to take notice, complimenting me and asking for advice. I began to look around and see that there were many men who were not dressing to elevate their image. In fact, they were doing more harm to their appearance simply because they did not know how to dress. I knew I wanted to help men look good, feel great about themselves and perform as a confident gentleman.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Personal shopping is a key service that I provide for my clients because it allows me to shop for clients who either do not have time to shop or do not know how to shop for the right wardrobe. I personal shop for single outfits to an entire closet depending on the needs of the client.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to find what works for you. There are many image consultants and personal stylists out there but not all are created equal. Look for quality and someone who focuses on what you want. Think of your image and your wardrobe as an investment, your return on that investment depends on how skilled your stylist is. You want returns that will yield things like compliments, second looks by individuals you might be interested in, being taken more seriously by employers, self confidence and saving money all together.
