Kennon did a superb job in fixing the patio fence without question. Punctual, professional and customer oriented in all areas. Would definitely go to mermaid engineering for future projects. This company goes above and beyond for their clients! I got stuck on the side of the road when my straps with a mattress attached to the hood of my car snapped. I called mermaid engineering and they came and saved me off the side of the road!! They got a pickup truck and took me to my destination in bumper to bumper traffic! I’m blown away from their customer service. Blown Away!

Kennon got right to work on one of two dimmer light installs while we waited for the building water shutoff to take effect. Then he fixed the shower hot water valve drip and checked the other two valves. He did a good job and was professional as well as pleasant. He ran into a small problem with the second switch. Overall we are happy with his work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We currently charge $75.00 per hour for all handyman services! $25 for a trip charge within 5-25 miles and a $50 trip charge may apply to travel greater than 26-50 miles, from our Qualified technicians. . Please note there is a $25.00 fee for cancellations!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate with our customers to get their name, address, phone number and email (for billing). We then create an electronic work order so the technician can call the customer to answer questions and schedule an appointment!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Colorado Technical University with an Associates Degree in Business Science with honors in 2013. I have over 35 years of marine, residential and commercial construction and mechanic experience. We also specialize in Drone videos and survey services.
