- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First time booking with me get a new customer discount! If flying to another island I do charge a travel fee as well as traveling across island I do add a fee for gas (I drive a Toyota Corolla so it is just $30 for anywhere). I charge and extra $40 - $50 for hand made lei, haku, and ti leaf lei. I love taking photos and sharing these special moments with you and am willing to work with you to make a package price you can afford.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to video chat prior to the shoot to get to know one another and talk about your vision. I also will make a shared Pinterest board to bounce ideas and posing back and forth and I like to know what sort of music you enjoy listening to in order to make us a playlist to loosen up and listen to throughout the shoot. I can give you full instruction with prompts and posing or you can tell me what you want, I am flexible and want to work together to co create your dream photos!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received an A in my collegiate level Photography course for my bachelors degree and took classes in film, editing, videography, and advanced photo! I have shadowed professional photography Taylor Boone on multiple shoots assisting with lighting and learning and Taylor Waltson on one shoot where we shot together. I professionally shot portraits and action shots for LGYC website and brochures for 3 years and DarmaKai by Daria, Mama Juana Jewelry Harvest Tide Creations and various swimsuit makers shooting lifestyle and product photography.
