Aloha, my name is Elle Adams and I am a photographer located on the North Shore of Oahu.
I see each photoshoot as an opportunity to show people just how truly beautiful they are. My advice during a photo shoot is always to breath, relax, and appreciate the environment we are lucky to be a part of here. Documenting individuality and candid real moments are big reasons I am so passionate about photography.
I have been a professional photographer for the past 5 years and it has been a serious hobby of mine for 8 years. I shoot with a Canon DSLR Mirrorless camera and edit with Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom. I received my bachelor's degree in Communications, taking many collegiate courses on Photography and Adobe Products.

Elle was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she extremely personable, kind, easy going and flexible… but the photography that she captures is absolutely incredible. She is patient, can help direct you if needed and allows you and your significant other to feel comfortable capturing beautiful candid shots. Elle shot our wedding at the Santa Barbara courthouse and did an absolutely amazing job. I can’t say enough. She came prepared, with so many different ideas on places and poses. I recently had the pleasure of working with Elle for a solo photoshoot in Solvang, CA and I cannot speak highly enough of her incredible talent and professionalism. From start to finish, the entire experience was amazing!
Not only did she made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the shoot, but she also took the time to really understand my vision and what I was hoping to achieve with the photos. I wanted to shoot with flowers, and she took some time out before the shoot and picked up beautiful flowers.
What I appreciated most about working with Elle was their ability to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Finally I was blown away by the stunning images she captured.
In addition to her artistic talent, Ellen was also incredibly professional and communicative. She was always prompt in responding to my messages and kept me informed every step of the way.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First time booking with me get a new customer discount! If flying to another island I do charge a travel fee as well as traveling across island I do add a fee for gas (I drive a Toyota Corolla so it is just $30 for anywhere). I charge and extra $40 - $50 for hand made lei, haku, and ti leaf lei. I love taking photos and sharing these special moments with you and am willing to work with you to make a package price you can afford.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to video chat prior to the shoot to get to know one another and talk about your vision. I also will make a shared Pinterest board to bounce ideas and posing back and forth and I like to know what sort of music you enjoy listening to in order to make us a playlist to loosen up and listen to throughout the shoot. I can give you full instruction with prompts and posing or you can tell me what you want, I am flexible and want to work together to co create your dream photos!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received an A in my collegiate level Photography course for my bachelors degree and took classes in film, editing, videography, and advanced photo! I have shadowed professional photography Taylor Boone on multiple shoots assisting with lighting and learning and Taylor Waltson on one shoot where we shot together. I professionally shot portraits and action shots for LGYC website and brochures for 3 years and DarmaKai by Daria, Mama Juana Jewelry Harvest Tide Creations and various swimsuit makers shooting lifestyle and product photography.
