]Hi, you can call me Jess :) Ever since I was little, I was always the one behind the lens at family gatherings. As soon as I had enough money saved up, I bought my first camera and moved from my hometown in Brazil to the U.S. to experience a new culture. My travels took me to the Big Island of Hawai’i, where I fell in love with the people, the nature, and the aloha spirit. Feeling this way has inspired me to capture the emotions that people experience while visiting this island, or who are blessed to call it their home. One of my favorite things to do is to inspire people as they are. To celebrate them in their true essence, beauty and radiance and to help them see their magnificence within themselves. When I’m photographing it’s not about getting good pictures of them, it’s about capturing their true nature and what makes them unique and special.
