Rodolfo was more than professional. He was very comfortable working with my daughter who is African-American and never wears make-up. He listened to our requests, ensured there was proper execution of the glamorous look we were going for; and he was open to suggestions. I especially appreciated how he did a trial run prior to the planned prom date to ensure he had the proper color match of my daughters' skin. Rodolfo was the first person to respond and truly seemed the most interested in meeting my make up needs. His price was also reasonable. He arrived 10 minutes early and spent 2 hours on my makeup. He did a beautiful job all the while explaining what products he was using and why. In addition I loved his personality. It was immediately comfortable and felt like I’d known him for years. Our session was a trial run, and I’ll be using him for my video event again in 2 weeks.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my advanced education from Geisha Studios in Los Angeles. Then I received specific Brand education from various prestige cosmetics brands.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been fascinated with makeup since I was a young boy. After leaving the corporate world I went to beauty school. My mentors introduced me to the beauty industry and I continued my education and worked with various prestige cosmetics brands. I tested the waters of freelancing makeup work and fell in love with the bridal industry. I continue in the space to this day.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types: women, men, teenagers, mature, many ethnicities (Caucasion, African American, Asian, Latins, Middle Eastern, Jewish, Muslim.) Celebrities, high profile, up-and-coming actors, soccer moms, working women and men, gays, straight, transgender.
