• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  Receiving medical history and traumas to the mind and body. With massage, palpating or feeling the body to feel where it stores it stress. With yoga, intently watching it move through the custom sequence to see where the body needs to find release through flexibility and where it’s needs to find stability through strength.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  Graduated from the Hawaii Healing Arts College in Kailua and from the Windward Retreat Center in Kaaawa for Yoga.

• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  I was in two very body traumatic accidents. The first, I was receiving massage 3x a week along with a team of other body work. I wanted to be able to bring the same relief back to others the way it was given to me. The second, I was left unable to move very much, and being the active person I am, it drove me quite mad. But a few months in I was cleared for yoga. It brought me such mental and physical relief from pain, anger, strife, and hardship. Again, I needed to be able to share that gift with others so I went back to school. This is my passion. I understand pain, it’s patterns, the detriment it does to quality of life and peace of mind. I want to help others find the relief that I have found.
