- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the big island of hawaii. Specially in or near Kona. However, I am willing and love to travel inter island for events and shoots. It just is something I need to factor into the budget! No worries, inter island flights are cheap and fast!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get on the phone with my potential customers, because typically they aren’t on island and it’s the only way to connect and get a vibe for what they are wanting, and what their plans are. Next, I like to walk and talk when we first meet before our shoot, and really try to make them feel comfortable and open up. The more comfortable they become, the better the photos come out.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve studied light, composition, editing software and editing skills, for most of my career of holding a camera. If you want your work to shine and you want to be professional, this is essential. So much work goes into the backend.
