KMasters Photography is about creating memories, remembering the joy, enjoying the moment, seeing the passion. My approach is easy, fun, and fresh. I would love to create your special portraits. Kathie did a fantastic job! We had to reschedule several times do to weather and she was always willing to work around our schedule. The photographs came out amazing and she was great with my 6yo. I can not wait to do another shoot with her.

Kathy set up the entire photography shoot with all the props and had everything set up for us right when we got there. We wasted no time and took some of the best pictures of my family I've ever had. She went above and beyond and made beautiful pictures.

KMasters Photography is more than just photography. Kathie drove up from California to our place in Appleton, Washington to do an engagement photo-shoot for my son and soon to be daughter-in-law. She was upbeat and never kept things ordinary. Her artistry and knowledge of lighting and backdrop created unique beautiful photos that we treasure. She will be returning in late Spring for the final wedding package.

Kathie brings her studio to you, which for me allowed me to consider different clothing style for the shoot. Saved me the trouble of choosing/packing a variety of shirts and ties. The setup was very thorough and flexible. She helped out with advice on the mix of colors, expressions, and poses in a way that brings out the natural energy of the subject. Very happy with the raw proofs in terms of variety and final images. Thanks Kathie!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down or chat with a client before the shoot and discuss the ultimate goal for the images, the design/style the client wishes to see in their portraits
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking images most of my life; always behind the camera. Recently I started portraiture and have enjoyed myself immensely. I have taken multiple classes related to photography and have enjoyed college photography courses as well. Photography education has given me a solid foundation for my portrait work.
