Introduction: Kauai Technical is a full-service provider of computer (desktop, laptop, server) sales and repair. We also offer network infrastructure, security and surveillance hardware, paperless office systems and other high-tech hardware and software solutions, serving the Hawaii, US West Coast and Pacific Island regions. We offer new systems for sale; we also repair and do expansion or “refresh” of existing systems. Our customers are small to large businesses, government and military, with many local client references available. We are capable of repairing computers in volumes, i.e., multiple computers at the same time. We have the staff, equipment and resources to repair as many computers as you have to offer. We are able to work on-site (desktop or staging area) with appropriately equipped vehicles or work off-site with breakdown/pick up and delivery/set up. For a scaled hardware or software refresh (upgrade), we offer guidance, training and support, if necessary on new platforms. There are many different variables with computers and other technical equipment, so we offer no-cost, on-site consultations, with a “not-to-exceed” or “time and materials” cost estimate or proposals to best meet our customer’s requirements. Our technicians are certified systems engineers in Microsoft and Cisco platforms with high experience in Apple, Unix and more legacy mainframe platforms as well. We run our services under strict project management style guidelines and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget performance. Our head technician is also a certified PMP, PgMP (project management professional and program manager) within PMI, the recognized standard in the industry. Both owners and head technicians were employed by The Boeing Company in Seattle Washington, St. Louis, MO and Southern California, managing the computing asset management and worldwide site operations (the division responsible for end-to-end management of all IT resources at remote locations worldwide of 5 to 1000 IT assets). Our company has done work at senior levels for Marriott Corporation, First Bank Systems, The Boeing Company, Nortel, Lloyds of London and others. Although we have large clients, we run dedicated that “no client is too small”. Our company has general performance bonds in place for appropriate-sized projects with further bonds available, depending on the requirement and scope of the project. Our employees are able to pass a background check, illegal drug testing and government level clearances, if necessary. Kauai Technical is actively involved in the local community. We have contributed our services and expertise to organizations such as the Kauai Humane Society, the boys and girls clubs of Kauai, local food banks on the island and the Kauai AIDS project.
