Shannon was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. We chose the beach picnic proposal package, and she made the entire process feel easy and stress free. Communication was excellent the whole way through, and she was always friendly, responsive, and professional.
We were staying at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, and Shannon coordinated directly with the hotel team and even handled the beach permits, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Everything was set up perfectly and went even better than I imagined.
In person, she was incredibly kind, helpful, and organized. I proposed two days ago, and it turned out absolutely perfect. I attached a few photos Shannon took on our iPhone while we wait for the professional photos to come later.
Highly recommend Shannon if you’re planning a proposal or special event in Hawaii. Truly outstanding work.

WE LOVE CREATION SWELLS! Shannon is amazing. She was so professional, so prepared. She offered a packages in so many different price ranges, that it made it much easier to just enjoy the process. (Instead of thinking these are really expensive don’t mess them up! the whole time.) She knew the best location, got permits, gave the best directions to where we were going, had all the poses, was open to anything we wanted. She really captured our love for each other. It was HARD to pick which ones we wanted for sure because we wanted them all!! She far exceeded our expectations, and these are the best souvenir because we cannot stop looking at them, and going back to island for just a moment. I completely recommend her for your pictures needs on the Big Island. We’d love to come back and shoot with her again!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have hourly, package and per image options available depending on the type of photography needed. For weddings and events, packages or hourly (a la carte) options are available. For architecture, product and commercial photography, hourly and per-images options are available. Sessions with all-inclusive or à la carte images are available for portraits. We're willing to work with you to determine the best pricing option to meet your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In person or over the phone, our photographer sits down to find out a bit more about who you are, what you're needing, and the style of photography that best appeals to you. She then goes over the process so you have an idea of what to expect before, while and after she photographs. Along the way, she answers any questions you may have. Her goal is to get you comfortable and excited about the photos you'll get from your session or event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our main photographer has a degree in Professional Photography from an accredited college. She's also interned with some well known commercial, wedding and portrait photographers, and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
