Introduction: At Kauai Island Destination Weddings we strive to assist couples in creating a memorable wedding experience to treasure for a lifetime. I love sharing the beauty of Kauai, "The Garden Isle", my home since 1990, to see couples desires fulfilled as they begin this new chapter of their lives together. I am a wedding planner, officiant and a photographer. I would love to see how I can assist in helping you to create the wedding, wedding vow renewal or elopement that you envision. My favorite is an intimate ceremony, in nature on a sandy beach or at one of our many lovely outdoor settings. I am also happy to be your wedding, engagement or family photographer. My husband and I hired an Officiant to renew our vows on the beach in Kauai, and we had a tremendous experience all around. Our officiant, Magenta, was very professional, responded quickly to any messages, and really seemed to care a lot about making the experience very special for us. She went above and beyond. I highly recommend this business and her to take care of your needs for your very special occasion!

We planned on having Magenta for our “save the date” but unfortunately we had to cancel the day before, since my fiancé and I weren’t so sure about the weather in Kauai when we visited in August. On the weather apps stated it’ll be 50% rain. My fiancé and I are from California which this was our first time to Hawaii and it’s weather, and we didn’t want to bank on the rain being here or not. I would still highly recommend hiring Magenta because throughout the planning process was very professional and always so communicated to me via text, emails, and phone call. When we come back to Kauai again, and in need of a photographer we know the first person to contact! 🤗

Magenta is amazing and God sent all the way from the other side of the country. Her passions for nuptials is breath taking, the air to breath at moments such as getting married. With little or short notices she keeps coming through for me. Now I know how it feels to be a bride to to rush, hustle, bustle, still maintain daily living and not go insane! You need her. She is calm, graceful, caring, gifted, creative and just the most wonderful person to talk to. Not to mention the greatest deal of her ideas, work ethics, and the price no one can beat! She's a wedding sanity saver! I could go on and on about how blissful I am to have her on my side. Definitely 100% blessed. I hope I can come back later after the wedding and add pictures of her work for show and tell.

As the Mother of the Bride, we tend to set our expectations much higher than most! I loved interacting with Magenta months before the big day! I enjoyed all our conversations, bouncing ideas around for photographing the perfect day! Our special day arrived and so did Magenta! Taking pictures capturing all those special moments. Not even a week later I received the link to our photos!!!!! Oh My Gosh every picture is beautiful! The bride and family couldn’t be happier!!!! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A perspective bride or groom contacts me through my website, e mail, phone or Thumbtack. I listen to the couple's desires as to their wedding or wedding vow renewal plans.I check for my availability on their chosen date. We proceed from there. I ask where on Kauai they will be staying.I help them to choose the perfect beach wedding location, If they would like a photographer, videographer, musician, cake etc. I can locate and book this for them. There are three packages I normally work from that are listed under "Packages" at kauaiislanddestinationweddings.com
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been assisting couples with their wedding plans here on the Island of Kauai since 2001. It is something I absolutely love doing.
