Sergey of Wise Stage of Remodeling was an amazing choice. We had a complete remodel of a two bedroom condo in pac heights. Sergey put in new hardwood floors, completely redid two bathrooms, and a kitchen.
The project came in on budget and on time, and Sergey was super communicative through out the entire process. He is an intelligent problem solver. We ended up firing our designer a few weeks into the project and Sergey picked out all the finishing materials (recessed cans, baseboards, door hardware, etc) and we're super happy with his choices.
His team was also very amazing and helpful. They all work really well together and pays attention to detail. Our new home is beautiful,and built with care. We totally recommend and will hire again.

Sergey helped me with a big renovation project that includes kitchen & bathroom complete remodel, additional bathroom, structural wall removal, skylight replacement & addition, external post replacement (due to dry rot), roofing, backyard renovation, electrical rewiring, HVAC system, painting, and many more. My experience with Sergey and his team was very positive from the beginning to the end. His estimate was throughout, detailed, and realistic. He took the time to learn about what I envisioned, my style, my budget, and gave me helpful suggestions. Learning about him and his past projects, developed trust in him to choose the right options and materials that would match my taste and expectation.
As expected for any other extensive projects, there were surprises and delays that came up throughout the process due to many unforeseen circumstances (the house condition, weather, health, etc.) but Sergey and his team were very communicative and responsive. They always gave me explanation and recommended options before asking for permission to execute. Most importantly, when there were mistakes, their team did not try to excuse themselves but got right into action to fix them.
Another benefit in hiring Sergey is his network. As a general contractor, Sergey was able to bring in different teams of roofers, landscapers, etc. to work on projects I added. His folks provided quality work and services. His brother Dima is also an honest & great guy with solid skillsets. One tip I have is you still can shop around and negotiate for a fair price with Sergey's teams (but also keep in mind you have to compare apple to apple regarding the high quality of work they're able to provide).
The original time estimate was 5 months. With a few delays, additional scopes, and hiccups (COVID-19 regulation, holidays, health, scheduling, etc.) it was finally finished after 8 months and an additional 25% above the original budget. These are things that I expected and would recommend anyone to keep those in mind before starting any renovation project.
Overall, I'm very happy with the end result and have been recommending Sergey to my friends and family. It was a pleasure working with Sergey, his brother Dima, and his team. I would hire them again for my future projects.

Sergey and his team did a fantastic job remodeling both our kitchen and living room area. Beyond impressed with the options he selected, patience he had with our questions and due diligence in going above and beyond to help us out. 100% recommend him and his team to anyone looking for help with renovating/remodeling their unit. We're going to be hiring him again to do our bedrooms & bathrooms in Q1 of 2019.

If we could give Wise Stage Remodeling more stars than 5, we would!
We hired Wise Stage Remodeling to finish a very difficult and messy remodel in San Francisco (single family house). A previous contractor messed the remodel up beyond belief and left it in shambles, while we were out of town. None of the new contractors were even willing to consider taking this job and we were desperate. Sergey from Wise Stage Remodeling responded to our request via Thumbtack. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and timeframe to finish the project. Sergey and his team (especially Arthur, his carpenter, who's amazing with cabinets, doors, tiling) were extremely diligent and hardworking. They remodeled the kitchen from top to bottom, as well as finishedremodeling the rest of messy unfinished projects of all levels of difficulty throughout the house. Sergey and Arthur pulled us out of a very messy situation and made the impossible possible. They were both incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout the entire construction process: hardworking, honest, and polite guys. Their attention to detail and ability to face our complex construction issues alleviated a lot of stress and pain on our part. We simply lucked out w/hiring Wise Stage Remodeling. We've been through a number of remodels with a few of our properties in San Francisco, and never had a more pleasant experience with the contractors. We would absolutely, without a doubt, recommend hiring Wise State in a heartbeat!

Sergey and his team did a fabulous job for our kitchen remodel which required removing a wall and opening up our kitchen to the living room. We had looked at several contractors for the job, but Sergey's sense of modern design clicked for us. His team was punctual, efficient, clean and looked at the tiniest detail. For instance, he proactively painted our whole living room as a gift because wall colors had to match! The took all precautions for COVID during construction. Beyond that, Sergey took care of all inspection and permits. Wise Stage was great to work with and I would definitely consider him for our next project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It’s a very straightforward process. First we meeting with my potential client, during the meeting I am trying to understand my potential client’s needs and expectations, after that I am providing an itemized estimate, if my potential client happy with a price I am preparing a contract, after we sign the contract I dedicate one of my weekends and we go shopping, usually I am taking my client to my favorite building supplier, then I am keeping all the receipts to take care of all the deliveries and then we are doing our job.
There is also another way, where my estimate includes all rough and finish materials based on allowance I provided to my client, but from the beginning it’s the same process where I am trying to understand my potential client’s needs and expectations. It’s a straightforward process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I finished university with economics degree, it helps me a lot to manage my projects, also work for my brother’s company helps me to understand everything from the inside, I am talking about all codes and regulations.
