I hired the Makua Boyz for a large symposium at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel. Dean was incredibly responsive and asked all of the right questions. He asked to come even earlier than requested to ensure they had enough time to set up, and brought a dancer with them just because! Attendees came back to us with rave reviews, noting the band was entertaining, fun, and had a great variety of music for them to enjoy. Dean was incredibly understanding about our organization's accounting process around the holidays and was patient with our process. I would HIGHLY recommend the Makua Boyz. They were professional, entertaining, fun, understanding, and a wonderful addition to our symposium. We could not have asked for a better entertainment choice. Thanks again Makua Boyz!

Awesome people to work with, I spoke with dean hirata. Very reasonable prices to work with on a timely matter. They arrived an hour early and started/ ended on time. We last minute asked if they could sing happy birthday and they were happy to do so. No complaints about overtime or anything, they even sang another song to give us time to get the cake and candles ready. I had guests taking pictures of the whole group after they cleaned up. They were very engaging with the crowd with telling jokes and small talk. I would definitely book Mauka boys again.
