After having one person not able to re-install my ceiling fan because I tried to replace my remote control myself and calling and leaving messages for two other handymen, Darren came in and got the job done First, he couldn't get the ceiling fan up because he said there was a piece missing. I told him that I would buy another fan if he would come back and install that one. He said he would return. Later that same evening he texted and told me not to buy another fan because he thought he had a solution. I bought another fan anyway "just in case". When Darren returned a couple of days later he took the blades off and was able to get the job done in good time. He also took on a secondary job of leveling my washing machine. So, I am on my way to return the fan I didn't need after all....thanks to Darren.

OMG. AMAZING! I've never met someone so punctual, efficient, professional, polite, and CLEAN! I had multiple projects I needed done at my shop. He came in on time, fixed and installed everything, even vacuumed the areas that he worked on, and taped up the used boxes. My clients that saw his work ALL wanted to hire him for their projects too! I'm so happy I found him. I will definitely be calling him again for all of my projects!

This was my first time using Thumbtack and what a great first experience!! We needed a hole drilled through our granite because the plumber we have doesn't drill granite. So I thought to give Thumbtack a try and chose Darren. I use to be in retail for many years so it's easy for me to talk to people but it's not necessarily the same for the people I interact with. So when I met Darren, he impressed me. Not only did he have awesome people skills, he had class. I did text him during the day just to check-in before our scheduled time and he got back to me promptly. He was at my home at the time he quoted and he did excellent work within the amount of time he quoted. He then cleaned up the area and removed the rubbish even though I offered to throw it out. He told me he is a carpenter by trade and I thanked him for his reasonable quote. Darren will be the one I contact FIRST for any handy work in the future. He came prepared and ready and knew his stuff. Another quote I got was pretty ridiculously high and although that person specializes in granite and had photos, Darren's quote was more from this planet. If only everything could run as smooth as this job did. Two things I forgot to mention 1) I'm an at home mom and my two young boys and I were the only ones home so initially I was a little nervous that my husband couldn't be home letting someone I don't know in our house.....Darren was so professional and kind. Any other moms in the same situation, you have nothing to worry about and 2) Darren mentioned his son does electrical work. Thank you Darren I hope my review which is from the heart gets you chosen on thumbtack 😊🤙🏼🤙🏼

We feel that out pricing is fair and the value will always be excellent. Our professional attitude for excellence is our goal along with a satisfied customer. We offer multi item discounts when required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial quote, we will discuss specific project needs. A free jobsite survey will take place, if accurate measurements are required. In some cases a deposit will be collected and a start date for the project will be set.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had 2 years of Carpentry Technology classes in college and 4 years of union apprenticeship trading. All totalled I have been in home construction and renovarions for 33 years!
