I would give Jack from Hawaii Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Squad a 20 star ⭐️ if I could! My issue was replacing shower cartridges so the shower water could run normal again without only just hot water. It eventually became too scalding hot to take a shower 🚿 I called almost every plumber I could find on google and none of them and I mean absolutely None of them could figure out what shower cartridges that I needed for my shower! The only solution they all told me was to replace the whole shower basically a remodel of the entire shower including removing tile! Wow, I couldn’t believe it. Cost was $6,000 to $8,000 in repairs! I was so distraught! 2 and half years later! I stumbled into Hawaii Plumbing and Draining Cleaning Squad! On Thumbtack! Jack came and replaced my 2 shower cartridges and I’ve been enjoying my showers ever since! Saved over $7,750! I would and will recommend their company to everyone I meet! Jack, response was immediate, he showed up on time and was very polite and informative and the price was very affordable!!! Happily Showering in Waikiki

I highly recommend Jack; he is very responsive, he called me back right away and came very quickly for a diagnostic and quote. I needed several different repairs and he was able to get all the work done next day! He seems quite knowledgeable and I’m very happy the quality of his work. Jack was great! This was the second time we had a plumber come out in less than 2 months. He not only cleared our tub drain but also found that there was a back up in our main line which he also fixed at a significantly lower rate than the guys who came out previously and fixed the issue. He also told me why these backups are problematic and how to fix the shower drain myself in the future. Great service at a great price!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am always up front with my customers and what it will cost to accomplish their plumbing repair or replacement needs. It is hard to give pricing over the phone due to al of the variables. However once I’ve walked the job site and gone over all the customers concerns or requests I’m always able to give upfront honest pricing to them before beginning the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first goal is to ensure the customer they’ve chosen the right person for their needs. My second process is to build a relationship with my customers so they feel comfortable with their choice to hire me and that they know they’re in the most professional and experienced hands.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been on plumbing jobs since I was 8 years old. I’ve done everything from drain clearing, drain cleaning, camera inspections, leak detection for water, sewer and gas, drain hydro-jetting, drain descaling, drain sanding, sewer system rejuvenation, plumbing services for new and existing homes and commercial properties, every type of water heating systems, fixture repairs and installations and much more.
