I'm making small (read: inexpensive) repairs to my rental unit. I noticed the old (maybe 10 years old) refrigerator's water dispenser had some water collecting at the bottom. I also had the entire interior repainted, and the handyman company removed the dryer vent. Junior of All in 1 repair contacted me right away via Thumbtack, then I called him. He was very professional and came within a few days to take a look. I was very impressed that he took the time to fill me in on the status of my refrigerator. Not only did he identify that it was just condensation, he also took out the ice cube tray and checked the seal on the fridge doors (both were properly functioning). He pointed out to me that it would be a leak if the water were dripping out of the tube (it was dripping from behind the tube). As for the dryer vent, the old one was this "MacGyver"-ed metal contraption that was dented and covered with aluminum foil (then I understood why the handyman didn't put it back on). He needed to return a few days later. One of his guys came back with a similar metal contraption. Since my dryer is inside of a bathroom, right against a two walls (in other words, it's in the corner of a room) the metal "thingy" didn't work. Instead, his guy was ingenious enough to get flexible tubing and a plastic part to connect the tubing to the dryer. It took him a while but after I saw the finished product I understood. In the long run, the new connection from the dryer to the wall vent will work better for me. If the tenants need to move the dryer for any reason (flooding, repair), they are able to pull it out and either the flexible tubing will expand, or they can disconnect it and easily connect it again. I am more than pleased with Junior and his guys at All in 1 Repair. Now I finally have a company that is reliable, communicates well and does quality work. As a landlord, this is a HUGE relief for me.
