I am an Information Systems Manager by profession and freelance photographer by choice. I am a husband and a father to an amazing Ohana. I love taking pictures, and my passion is to capture those special moments that will last a lifetime. Parish truly takes pride in his work! He put such detail into each shot, and walked us through a storyline for each pose to make it look more realistic. He has so much knowledge on the process to make each photo with the most optimal lighting, photo, etc. We were both a little nervous before our engagement shoot, but Parish's light personality and goofy jokes helped us loosen up and form genuine smiles or laughs when needed. He made us feel comfortable. He also wore a mask and practiced safe social distancing with us to make everyone involved feel safe. He knows the most optimal spots on Oahu for whatever your needs are -- sunset, beach, mountains, etc. His turnaround time is extremely quick, especially for his affordable prices. He made our engagement shoot wonderful. I highly recommend

Parish was very professional and fun to work with. He’s funny, has tons of jokes but still well aware of the task at hand. I hire Parish for a surprise engagementphoto shoot. I stress the importance of staying anonymous and that the most important pictures are the actual proposal. Because I knew it would be hard to recapture the emotions, I put a lot of pressure on him that we had one shot at this. Not only did he accept with confidence but he did such a wonderful job. His background, knowledge and love for photography really impressed me. And that’s only the tip of the ice berg, we ran into a lot of scheduling and location issues on my behalf and he was very understanding and accommodating. But in the end we were able to accomplish the goal. Before our engagement me and my fiancée have been together for 16.5 years. This moment means so much to us and we are forever thankful for these photos.

Parish was phenomenal. I booked a shoot with him when we decided we were going to Hawaii. While there my boyfriend surprised me and proposed, I told Parish and he turned a little couples shoot into one that helped us to celebrate our engagement. He was funny, very kind, and included extra photos and a lovely Phiri video of the shoot. Would highly recommend him, you really can’t go wrong!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to work with the customers to understand their budget. I am pretty flexible about negotiating a fair price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One thing great about having a part time photography business is that it is not about the money. I have a full time job, so when I sit down with a customer I share that information because it puts them at ease to work on a budget they can afford. To me it is all about capturing that special moment. I am also an empty nester, so I truly understand how important pictures are to a family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do not have formal photography training, most of my experience comes from taking pictures over 20 years of my family and friends. Now that all of my children are adults and living on the mainland, I have the freedom to work harder at this craft. I simply enjoy taking pictures.
