Introduction: I am now offering online lessons on the piano, violin, cello and recorders! Set up a free introduction lesson now! Students of all ages and skill levels are welcome! Students focus on rhythm, ear training and the geography of their instrument. Students then focus on setting up a solid foundation of technique and understanding of the music being played. Having a solid understanding of what is being played, as well as the ability to effectively portray this on your instrument, opens up a more rewarding and effective experience with music. With the parents participation I offer piano lessons to students as young as 4 years old! The Hudson View Trio offers a unique classical voicing for weddings and special events. Taking its name from the scenic Hudson River Valley of New York State, the trio features traditional classics and contemporary favorites in a polished arrangement of two flutes and cello. Nicole helped my daughters, who are 8 and 13, learn how to play the violin and cello respectively. She gave my girls private lessons out of our home for an hr 2-3 times a week. Nicole is very patient, effective in her teaching methods, and is very knowledgeable in both the cello and violin. I remember one time both my daughter had a recital coming up and she stayed an extra 2hrs longer to help them, and I didn't ask her to! She wanted them to do well and was more than happy to stay. Nicole was always 10 minutes early to our home and I would refer anyone wanting to learn the violin, cello, or beginner piano lessons to Nicole. Couldn't have asked for anyone better! This is a review for Nicole's professional presence and responsiveness on Thumbtack. Though my fiancee and I chose to go with a harpist for our wedding (we simply felt the instrument was a better fit for our spring garden ceremony ambience), I was very impressed with Nicole's communicativeness. Over the course of a month, Nicole provided several custom recordings to help me decide if the cello was right for us. Her quote was extremely reasonable and her playing is lovely--I will definitely seek her out for future music needs!

Nicole Moody has been such a huge help in working with both my boys in Cello and one in Piano as well. She is very motivating and each lesson has been so engaging that my boys are always happy to talk about what new things they have learned. I wasn't sure where to begin when I knew they needed extra help with Cello and one wanted to start Piano, but ever since I contacted Nicole she has been excellent all around.
