- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing factors include: Ceremonies are priced with consideration to distance - within 60 miles, within 120 miles & beyond. Pricing assumes that our travel is completed with no overnight requirements. A traditional rehearsal (held the day/evening prior) creates another expense for us... so a travel fee will be added.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We send an outline of all the elements that MAY be included in a wedding ceremony and ask the couple to consider which elements they would like included. Several questions are asked about the wedding (venue, attire, traditional or contemporary). 2. We have a scheduled meeting - usually by phone - to complete the ceremony outline and identify what remains to be done (& by when). Assistance in writing vows and/or suggested readings can be provided. Further communication is usually via e-mail and used to flesh out the ceremony content and participant roles. 3. Following completion of the "plan", we finalize the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are learning all the time. New ideas for vows, readings & songs and acts of unity are created all the time... we must keep up with the latest and remember the more traditional.
