Music Lessons By Kathy

Introduction: At Music Lessons by Kathy, students are encouraged to experience music through technology, a primary instrument and the availability of other instruments at the studio. Kathy is a professionally-trained musician with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Simpson College where she worked for Des Moines Metro Opera. Kathy believes that everyone has musical talent in them, and she is committed to helping people of any age to find their love for music. Students are challenged to work hard to achieve excellence but not in the old-fashioned, unappealing way. Music should be fun and challenging! Kathy taught both instrumental and vocal music in the public school system for 20 years. Voice, piano, any band instrument and extremely beginning violin lessons are offered. Lessons are offered by the month or by single session as available. Lessons are open to all ages and abilities. We take you where you are and help you grow.
