- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system isn't too difficulty to follow. Here is the break down: Hourly rate: $25.00 (the majority of my work) Transcription Rates: -- $1.00 per audio minute with clear audio, no more than two speakers, easy to understand. -- $1.25 per audio minute audio with more than two speakers, or speakers with thicker accents. -- $1.50 per audio minute with audio with severe quality problems, focus groups, or a lot of people trying to talk over one another.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Lately, I have been working with publishers/authors as a digital course coordinator. Advising, creating, & maintaining higher education online courses that accompany their books.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be clear about your needs so you can ask precise questions. This will be invaluable when making the proper selection for your business. Ask great questions, not just the standard interview questions, you will be surprised how changing your interview style can make a huge difference in your process. It may also make it a little fun for you!
