Ryan from R&R Remodeling was a pleasure to work with from the beginning of the process. On a Thursday, we were quoted for replacing the stairs on our deck and also replacing the railing. He began work on that Monday and finished on Tuesday. The craftsmanship was first class. I will definitely be contacting Ryan for future remodeling projects! We had Ryan finish a piece of drywall, and tile around an in-shower bathroom window. Ryan was quick to respond most of the time. He made several trips to make sure of what we wanted to do, and offered some really good suggestions (which we used) in order to make our tiled bathroom window "frame" in the shower. This was a more difficult job than a normal start-to-finish tile shower, as this was piecing in just the tile around the window that had been replaced, and also needed correct tilt on the bottom ledge so that water would drain. At first, there was one side that held water, but he came back immediately and fixed it. I liked that he made sure of our expectations and what we were doing before he started, and I think he did everything he could, including better ideas than ours, to "polish a turd" and make it look very nice (to do it best, we would have needed to redo the entire shower)! The number of trips he made seemed high to do these two jobs (disclaimer- I am like the efficiency queen!), but he was very professional, courteous, and did things well with what was there to work with. I would definitely use him again!

building/Carpenter trades graduate from dmacc in in 1998 with a degree.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
carpentry is in my family genes, built new construction, remodels, garages,basements. hands on learning.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
No project is too small or too big. Never hurts to ask.
