FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I hope my pricing system isn't complicated. When you tell me what you expect, I'll suggest an honorarium. It is easy to meet a couple someplace with a few guests and have a fun, brief, informal service. It is hard to spend the better part of a weekend doing a rehearsal, having mother-in-laws and wedding planners trying to make last minute changes in the ceremony. All that is to say: Tell me what you want for a ceremony. I'll quote you a suggested price. But as I previously stated: I don't think money should come between your wedding and my Ministry. I'll will thankfully accept the gift/honorarium that you feel appropriate and is presented to me. That gift is personal and private, and between you two, me, and God!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I don't believe God quit speaking when the King James Bible was published. I keep up with news regarding religion, faith, spirituality. I continually read thought provoking books and articles about such matters.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Faith (or lack thereof) is a highly personal matter. That said, I feel that in some way I was "called" to Ministry. And that Ministry, now that I'm retired, involves mostly weddings.
