Introduction: From relaxation to transformation, I do it all! My name is Amberly and I strive to help people get back to the things you love to do and need to do. This mobile clinic is built around one-on-one care and convenience with treatments in the home, workplace, community, or remotely. I provide telehealth services throughout NE and IA, and physically can see clients in the Omaha Metro and SW Iowa. My clients save TIME: Time spent getting to and from appointments and time getting back to the activities you want to do. You will have the full attention of a licensed therapist, with over 10 years experience, focused on getting you back to life. Limit exposure to other people during this pandemic by avoiding going to a busy hospital or therapy clinic. We provide these services in the home: 1. medically necessary occupational therapy in person and/or online through Medicare or private insurance reimbursement. 2. wellness (i.e. a form of personal training that is medically based). In home and/or online which saves you the cost of a gym membership and expensive equipment is not required. 3. soft tissue mobilization with IASTM, dry cupping, neurokinetic taping, and manual lymphatic drainage massage with stretching the joints if needed.

Massage Therapy

Super professional and wonderful massage experience. I am a fan of the gua sha tool she used for the deeper tissue massage. She was able to pinpoint areas that have been troubling me for quite some time and start working through them. With her OT background she was also able to run through some stretches as well. All around fantastic experience and I will be asking her to return.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Contact me for pricing. Some services are covered by insurance and some aren't so it's best to get an idea of what you're looking for first. Some insurances will dictate how much you pay out of pocket which could be as low as $0! I am also a Medicare approved provider, so please let me know right away if you have Medicare or an Advantage plan because I have to follow special rules with them. My private pay fee may be higher than a massage therapist, but that's because you are getting an occupational therapist with a Master's degree in the function, movement, and rehabilitation of the body physically and cognitively. My goal is not to keep people coming back for more. Instead, it is to see you thriving so that you don't need me again unless it's just for a relaxing message.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will message or call to discuss your issues to ensure our services match your needs and determine if in-home, telehealth, or a combination of both will fit your preferences. Then we can schedule an evaluation and make a plan to address your issues and goals. I will always ask whether or not you will be wanting to use insurance or if you want the private pay options which helps provide a better estimate of costs. Please also let me know of you have Medicare for insurance because I have to follow special rules for them.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm a licensed occupational therapist with a decade of experience in just about every setting and am licensed in Nebraska and Iowa. I further specialized in treating chronic swelling and wounds. I also have experience helping arm and hand pain/injuries, aging well at home, fall prevention, and supporting loved ones for preparing for changes with dementia, all to help people stay healthy with less pain and hospital stays. On the wellness side of things (things that insurance USUALLY doesn't cover): I have training in lymphatic drainage massage which addresses chronic swelling, acute (after surgery) swelling, migraines, bruising, sinus pain, and more. Soft tissue mobilization for reducing fascial adhesions and moving better. I also do cardiopulmonary conditioning, strengthening, and sports stretching. In other words, if it's not on the list you can ask and we can most likely help!
