Dillie's Music Lessons

Hello friends! My name is Dillie! 🙂 I'm a teacher in the Cedar Rapids area of string instruments which include Piano, Violin, and Bass! I host lessons virtually or in person, with two online recitals per year to those brave enough to try. All my students are welcome to listen, we're all friends learning and growing together! My teaching style is laid back compared to a lot of teachers, with a strong emphasis on developing a 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 to practice and a 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦 to learn. It is infinitely harder to master an instrument you don't enjoy playing, and teaching learning techniques that are fun and engaging instead of repetitive excercises from a book is where I shine! Join me and my other students in developing your love for music, and you'll find yourself deep in a passion for expressing yourself and your ideas. It is never to late to start, to not let that creative child inside of you die. You found me for a reason, lets grow and learn together! 💚
