Marie was amazing! My little puppy loved table surfing! She gave me some tips and came over a few times, Zirah no longer looks for her food on the table. She is amazing! You won’t regret hiring her!Nov 11, 2017
Marie was very flexible as far as scheduling. I was nervous about how the session would go because our lab is almost 100lbs and jumps and gets very excited. I started to worry if he was trainable. She helped him calm down right away and helped us understand how to speak his language and train off a basic foundation. We can build so much training off what she taught us. I have never seen my dog behave so well when somebody came over. I can’t wait to see our Storm be a little less of a disaster warning ;) Thank you so much Marie! We can’t wait to have you check our work!Jan 4, 2018Verified
We gained great information on how to effectively train our dog. Marie was very professional and pleasant to work with. We have high hopes that our dog will be trained with simple commands in no time.Dec 29, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $50 per hour to come to you or to meet you at my facility in Cedar Rapids. All sessions are a minimum one hour (occasionally, we can schedule a 30 minute session for a puppy under 6 months of age). I do not offer free consultations, but am happy to discuss situations via email or phone to ensure we are the right fit for each other. The number of sessions you need depends on you and your situation. Some people do one session and are set, others need/want multiple sessions to work on more complex issues.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I prefer clients to call, message, or email so that we have a chance to get to know each other better and the situation. It is helpful for me to know what the problem is and approaches he/she has used to try and fix the problem. I find it is also helpful for clients to talk to me so he/she can describe problems in more detail. It also gives the client an opportunity to see if my training philosophy aligns with his/her expectations and ideals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?If I am not working with individuals or teaching group classes. I am usually taking classes, attending training sessions, or seminars.
