Introduction: I am a salon owner/hairstylist. I've rented space inside the 965 Salon & Spa building (on HWY 965) in North Liberty, Iowa, for 7 years. I am experienced, and I love working with naturally curly hair, creating fabulous hair colors, cutting men's hair, and cutting women's long hair. My space is small, quiet, relaxing, and caters to the hardworking professionals of the North Liberty, Iowa City, Coralville, and Cedar Rapids Corridor. My schedule fills up fast, so booking ahead is highly recommended. I use products called "Surface," all gluten-free, sulfate-free, and paraben-free. "Surface" is a certified organic botanical; it is all natural and smells awesome. Text me to schedule an appointment.

Carey was awesome. She made each of our family members feel at ease and everyone was very happy with how they looked. Best of all, she made my mom feel and look extra special on her 85th birthday!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing just varies. A consultation is always free. Let's chat, so I can learn more about your needs, and give you a better idea of price. And if you'd like me to travel to you, I charge the standard 50cents per mile mileage fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First scheduling an appointment via Text, Email, Call. Second, provide directions and an appointment reminder the day before and day of. Last, start with a consultation, provide hair service with free wifi and beverage. Offer product for hair, close appointment, and reschedule next visit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken opportunities to work with and learn from some of the nation’s most notable hairdressers. I’ve traveled the country learning from my favorite, innovative hair & makeup artists.
