What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because this is the first time I've decided to do this type of work on a more permanent basis, my quoting prices are negotiable depending on where the work is, time to complete the work, and any additional materials needed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I made really long term plans to get through college and find a 9-5 in an office. After some time I was simply not fulfilled with that kind of work. After a few tries at different office jobs, I realized that the education was worth the knowledge, but the line of work was simply not the niche that was meant for me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Background checks are important, and provide a peace-of-mind to whether you can initially trust a new contractor. Always make sure that a contractor can provide a clean background check.
