Michael is great to work with- I appreciated how up front he is with a project when it comes to options in design, procedure, materials and pricing. He also was thoughtful in noticing small improvements or adjustments that he could make along the way of a project (ex. he worked on my siding but noticed the placement of my doorbell had an opportunity to be moved to a more ideal location and let me know that was an option. I hadn't even thought about asking to move that around, but really appreciated the change).

I have been using Simmelink Home Services since March 2023, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Michael is an outstanding contractor with over a decade of experience. He is extremely professional and takes the time to walk through every project, making sure I fully understand the process and feel comfortable with the final decisions. (Which was so needed because I know nothing and can get stuck in my head!)As a first-time homeowner who purchased a fixer-upper, it was incredibly important for me to find someone I could trust since I knew renovating was going to be a long time project.Over the years, he has helped me with a wide range of projects. In 2023, he completely renovated my bathroom from the ground up, including a new shower and tub, toilet, flooring, vanity, as well as installing overhead lighting and outlets that didnt previously exist. In 2024, he installed brand new laminate flooring throughout my entire first floor, repaired unexpected roof leaks, installed windows and new insulation, installed a dishwasher from scratch, added butcher block countertops in my kitchen, alongside weatherproofed and painted my exterior siding. Most recently, in 2026, Ive hired Simmelink Home Services again to transform my attached garage into an additional bedroom and add a custom bathroom.Looking ahead, I fully plan to continue working with Michael for future projects, including installing a backyard fence and eventually renovating my barn into a two-car garage. As a woman, I especially appreciated having someone in my home who made me feel both comfortable and informed throughout every project. On top of that, his pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work he delivers.Five stars all around!

100% would/will hire again. He perfectly catered to my every request and concern (a nervous seizure-prone cat in my case, and I needed some demo work in the basement), all while being more affordable than the competition! He was a godsend in my situation.
