Introduction: Hi! I'm Ron! Thank you so much for considering me as your photographer. I strive to please my clients by being flexible, generous, considerate, and efficient. I'm not like many others out there who just want you in out of their doors only to deliver minimal services for maximum prices. If there's anything I can do to be a better photographer for you and your family, I'd love to help. Here's a little about me and how I got started. In 2002, I️ acquired my first camera. It was a fully manual Pentax 35mm slr. At the time, the camera was about 30 years old. I learned some tips from some friends, read some books, and practiced, practiced, practiced. I worked hard through each roll of film to improve my technique and to be the absolute best I can be. To this day, I still shoot the same brand camera, study, and practice. Capturing your memories is my passion. There's nothing quite like a satisfied client who keeps coming back. Thank you for your consideration. The best part of being a photographer is seeing the smile on my client’s face when they see their photos for the first time.

My experience working with Ron Durst and LightWay Photography was a wonderful one. Ron really took his time with both my son and I. He planned the perfect time and place for our photos. He chose the prime time for fall colors and I could not be happier! Our photos turned out great!! I can not say enough good things about our experience! I highly recommend!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When a new customer contacts me about booking, I always try to meet them before before the shoot date to discuss particular information like dates and location. From there, I show up to the shoot ready and on time. After the shoot, all of the photos go into my laptop and also onto a backup hard drive. When I return to my office, I begin the editing process. After I've completed the editing, the client gets a call and their photos get delivered.
